as some of you knew i have never been a tea or coffee drinker.well about 6month ago i started drinking tea,im by no way a die hard tea drinker yet lol I just have the odd cup.however i decided to use loose tea,i have tried punjana and scottish blend (which i didnt like the taste) so i stuck to the punjana. anyone else drink loose tea,and recomend a good one?

 

want to start drinking more tea next year,and cutting down on the irn bru lol

Never tried loose tea, is it much different from the bagged stuff? I drink far too much of the stuff, and always PG Tips here. Going to be looking for an alternative soon though, they've done something to them and they have gone weak as f**k.

Sounds different, might try loose tea myself. I heard teavana loose teas was great. Like Malt, I love tea and drink lots I tried that "fried breakfast" herbal tea once, it was alright but nothing special. Cant drink coffee though, gives me a banging headache.

Assam tea is my favourite and has been for some years,you`ll find it in most supermarkets(loose and in bags).It has a strong taste and makes all others seem tasteless.

Taylors of Harrogate Yorkshire Tea. We use it in teabags but you can buy it loose. A good strong tea.

I agree(thought it was just me being picky)lol, just gone on to Yorkshire tea, and tbh, there's not a lot of difference.

I've tried Tetleys, Typhoo, and they're all crap.

Got some Yorkshire Gold in a hamper, so I'll try them next, think they're a bit more expensive than the regular Yorkshire tea, so they should be better.

I have never really been one for messing with loose tea, I am not that fussed over my choice of tea bag either - Tetley or PG Tips seem to be the general theme though.

 

I had Lipton tea when overseas - just not the same!

Earl Grey for me, i got into it about 15 years ago when i went round to a gun dealers house thats all he had. Got myself a box and stopped drinking normal tea.

I don't like Earl Grey - I think I would rather go without and I love tea ... it tastes a bit 'flowery' to me

Not a tea drinker, love my coffee too much. And my new coffee machine that makes 18 cups and keeps warm is the bollocks. Can set it to make your coffee before you get up. Ffs why have I not had one of these years ago..?

i havent had loose tea for years used to have it all the time when i was a kid.

 

use teabags now but ive still got the habbit of leaving the last mouth full of tea in the bottom of the cup because there was always a few bits of tea that made it through the tea strainer, it always left the last mouthfull tasting like shit from the bits.

 

drink decafe now and still by the bucketfull lol
